SCHOOL OF CHOICE (NON-RESIDENTS)
We will be accepting Schools of Choice applications for students who reside outside of the Oak Park School District from March 18th - September 13th, 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year. All required documents must be submitted before the application can be reviewd for approval.
Final report cards and/or transcripts are required for application processing. Therefore the district recommends June 17, 2024 for 1st - 12th grades to start the process to ensure applications are not removed due to inactivity. Incomplete applications will be deleted after 30 days or September 13th, whichever comes first.

- Kindergarten, March 18 - September 15, unlimited
- 1-5 grade, June 17 - September 13, unlimited
- 6-8 grade, June 17 - September 13, unlimited
- 9-12 grade, June 17 - September 13, unlimited
All Schools of Choice (SOC) pre-enrollments will need to be accompanied by a separate SOC application. Click here to print a SOC application, fill it out and upload it with the required documents.

We will do our best to honor building preferences where applicable. However, placement will be based on classroom availability.
What is Pre-Enrollment?
Pre-Enrollment allows parents/guardians to pre-enroll their students by submitting information to the school district over the internet through a secure website. Once all the documentation is submitted, the school enrollment team is able to review the application and documentation.
How do I get started?Please note, if you are a current Parent Portal user, do not use your Parent Portal Pin and Password below. This Pre-Enrollment process requires a temporary account, which you create. Please create your temporary account by selecting the "Start a new Pre-Enrollment" option.
If you have previously started, but not yet submitted a pre-enrollment, select the "Continue a Pre-Enrollment in process" selection to logon with your temporary account to complete the pre-enrollment process.
Your temporary account will be active until the student is officially enrolled in Oak Pak Schools. Be sure to read the instructions provided throughout the Pre-Enrollment process for your child. Online registration requires an email address and in some cases an Adobe PDF reader (to view linked documents).
