What is Pre-Enrollment?
The online Pre-Enrollment process is designed as the first step in the journey to your student's educational career in Avondale Schools. Completing the Pre-Enrollment process gathers basic student information. Once all student information has been submitted through the Pre-Enrollment portal, please email the enrollment office at leta.brennan@avondaleschools.org to let us know you have completed the Pre-Enrollment process. All of the required documents need to be provided in order to complete the enrollment process.
You will need the following documents to complete the pre-enrollment process:

1. Birth Certificate
2. Immunizaitons
3. Special Education Documents (IEP, 504) if applicable
4. Parent Photo ID
5. One Utility Bill (gas, electric, cell phone, auto insurance)
6. Property Tax Statement (not a mortgage statement) OR
Your Complete Lease (all pages)
Regarding TK/Kindergarten enrollment only:
You will also need to submit the following documents prior to the first day of school:

Regarding students entering grades 10-12 only:
Due to the graduation requirements and timelines of completing the Michigan Merit requirements for a high school diploma, all students in grades 10-12 will require a transcript review before the enrollment process can continue. Caregivers should contact the former school to request a transcript. Please send transcripts to Carolyn Benson at carolyn.benson@avondaleschools.org. Transcripts may also be uploaded to the pre enrollment portal.

How do I get started?
Please note, if you are a current Parent Portal user, do not use your Parent Portal Pin and Password below. This Pre-Enrollment process requires a temporary account, which you create. Please create your temporary account by selecting the "Start a new Pre-Enrollment" option. Please write down your username and password. The enrollent office does not have access to passwords.
If you have previously started, but not yet submitted a pre-enrollment, select the "Continue a Pre-Enrollment in process" selection to log on with your temporary account to complete the pre-enrollment process.
Your temporary account will be active until the student is officially enrolled in Avondale Schools. Be sure to read the instructions provided throughout the Pre-Enrollment process for your child. Online pre-enrollment requires an email address and in some cases an Adobe PDF reader (to view linked documents).
Please be sure to email the enrollment office once you have completed the pre enrollment process. Include your student(s) name(s) in the email. leta.brennan@avondaleschools.org
